Coming This Week

I am very pleased to welcome professional daytrader Goran Yordanoff to Tradingmarkets.com. Goran will be joining us to give you his insights each day after the markets close. When you see what he has to offer, I'm sure you'll be excited as I am. Let me share a little about this special individual.

Over the past few weeks that I've gotten to know Goran, I've found him a pleasure to talk to, not merely owing to his enthusiasm, but also because he is a real student of the markets. In fact, I will go so far as to say that Goran's understanding of the markets is Cooperesque--but from angles that are uniquely his own. 

Thursday night, I'm on the phone with him, and he's telling me how much he respects the older guys who have seen much more than him. I thought to myself that that's pretty humble for a 32-year-old who's pulled a healthy six-figure return off his daytrading the past two years. His detailed discussions of specific market action going back decades told me here's a guy who eats and breathes the markets.

Yet even with his impressive knowledge of the past, Goran is still mired deep in trading technology. I must admit that I don't know anyone besides Goran who trades off five PCs and 22 monitors at his house.

No small wonder that Dave Landry took a special liking to Goran last summer at Kevin Haggerty's "Trading With the Generals" Two-day Trading Workshop this past summer. After hearing the type of questions Goran asked during sessions with Kevin, Dave just had to have lunch with him. 

Lucky for us he kept in touch. 

Starting this Thursday, December 21, watch for Goran's column, "Markets in Motion with Goran Yordanoff" every trading day at 7:30 pm ET. Goran will tell you what he's looking for in the overall market and individual stocks the next trading day.
