The favorable rating was grounded on Shanda Games' industry leading operation of more than 20 massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG) and 11 casual ones.
Meanwhile, the game firm operates another 28 games, well more than any of its competitors, the report said.
In the first half-year, it earned 321.9 million dollars in operating revenue.Oppenheimer also credited Shanda Games' ability to extend the life-time its games could be played, as was seen from the game operator's 56.4 percent income contribution by Legend of Mir 2, an eight-year old MMORPG still running.
The diversification of online games endowed Shanda Games wit the ability to attract different client types, sure to cut operating risks, the report said.
Shanda Games is a NASDAQ-listed gaming unit of Shanda Interactive (SNDA.NASDAQ), a leading Chinese online game operator and developer. The parent spun off Shanda Games, its pillar branch, earlier on September 25.
