Privacy Policy

Revised October 2006

The Connors Group, Inc. (the “Company”) is committed to protecting the private information
that users may submit on or through the Company’s websites. The Company’s websites include,
but are not limited to, THEFXMARKETS.COM, TRADINGMARKETS.COM, and THEMONEYBLOGS.COM
(collectively, the “Websites”). Please review the following Privacy Policy to become familiar
with the Company’s practices pertaining to user information.

INFORMATION COLLECTION

Registration and Billing

In order to use the Company’s Websites and its related products and services, users may be
required to provide personal information, including contact information (name, address, phone
number, e-mail, etc.) and billing information (credit card information). The Company may use
such information to contact users about products or services that may be of interest to them.
The Company DOES NOT distribute e-mail addresses or phone numbers outside of its Websites,
subsidiaries, affiliates and partners without permission. Furthermore, the Company DOES NOT
disclose credit card information to any entity other than credit card processing companies
that assist in billing users who purchase the Company’s products or services.

Cookies

Cookies are very small text files downloaded from a website by the user’s browser. Some
cookies stay in the user’s Random Access Memory and are deleted when the user closes the
browser. Others are saved onto the user’s hard drive. Cookies are used by website owners to
remember the user’s preferences and by advertisers to track the user’s online habits. Cookies
do not identify the user, but they can keep track of his/her movements from page to page on a
website. Furthermore, cookies can’t get information from the user’s hard drive. The most
common use of a cookie is to store information relating to user ID and password for a website
so that the user wouldn’t have to enter this information every time s/he logged onto that
particular site.

The Company uses both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. While a session ID cookie is
one that terminates when the user closes the browser, a persistent cookie is a small text
file stored on the user’s hard drive for an extended period of time. Users can set up their
web browsers to detect the presence of cookies or to disable the use of cookies. Users who
disable cookies can still use the Company’s Websites but may be limited in accessing certain
areas and information.

Please note that this Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by the Company only and does
not cover the use of cookies by any third parties.

Log Files

Like most standard website servers, the Company’s servers use log files including, but not
limited to, internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP),
referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. Log files are
used to analyze trends, administer the websites, track user movements in the aggregate, and
gather general demographic information. Log files are not used to obtain contact or other
private information of users.

INFORMATION USE

Generally

The Company provides a wealth of information on financial markets and trading activities.
Since users vary widely in their use of this information and the related products and
services, the Company believes that it can create value for its users by providing a more
customized website viewing experience. As a result, the Company strives to gather as much
information on its users, both through the registration process and by tracking user
preferences. Using this information, the Company can collect, filter, and deliver strategies,
articles and other information that users may find more relevant and valuable to them.

User Profiles

The Company stores information collected through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third
parties to create profiles for each user. A profile is stored information that identifies
each user’s viewing preferences. This profile may be linked to the user’s personal
information so that the Company can determine and provide the marketing promotions and
website content that would be most relevant to that user. Hence, the purpose of the user
profiles is to enable the Company to offer a more customized website viewing experience for
its users.

Third Party Advertisers Advertisements appearing on the Websites are
provided by the Company’s advertising partners. The Company and its partners may obtain
certain information pertaining to user visits, such as the number of times users have viewed
a particular advertisement, through cookies, log files, etc. Such information is used to
determine the advertising content on the Websites. However, the Company does not use personal
information in connection with promoting advertisements.

Please note that this Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by the Company only and does
not cover the use of cookies by any third party advertiser.

INFORMATION ON BLOGGING SERVICES

The Company provides publishing and community services (“Blogging Services”) through its
Websites. The Blogging Services provide users with the ability to post information and
participate in web-based discussions. In order to use the Blogging Services, users may be
required to provide certain personal information, including name, email address, phone
number, occupation, location, and other biographical information.

The Company’s servers automatically record information from usage of the Blogging Services,
such as when usage occurs and the frequency and size of data transfers. Information displayed
or clicked in the interface of the Blogging Services (including UI elements, settings, and
other information) is also recorded.

The Company stores and maintains account information and copies of users’ weblog posts and
comments, including drafts, in order to provide the Blogging Services. Users may change
account settings, including profile information, at any time by sending an e-mail to Customer
Support. Users can also edit, save drafts and remove weblog posts at any time. If users
choose to delete their weblogs, the Company will remove all posts from public view. Because
of the way the Company maintains the Blogging Services, residual copies of users’ profile
information and other information associated with their accounts may remain on back-up media.

Though the Company makes every effort to protect the privacy of its users, it may disclose
certain personal information as required by law. The Company will only disclose such
information upon a good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a
judicial proceeding, court order or other legal process.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

The Company DOES NOT share users’ e-mail addresses or phone numbers outside of its Websites,
subsidiaries, affiliates and partners, except as required by law (see “Legal Disclaimer”).
However, in order to provide its users with products and services that may be of interest to
them, the Company may occasionally share users’ name and mailing address information with
certain third parties. The Company will only disclose such information upon a good-faith
belief that its users will benefit from the products and services that these third parties
have to offer. The Company respects the privacy of its users and provides them with the
option to prevent such information from being disclosed. Users can exercise this option by
sending an e-mail to support@thefxmarkets.com.

Third Party Intermediaries

The Company uses an outside credit card processing company to bill users for products and
services purchased on the Websites and an outside shipping company to ship orders. These
companies DO NOT retain, share, store or use personal information submitted by the Company’s
users for any secondary purpose.

Choice to Opt-out

used for purposes other than those directly related to the Websites. Users are presented with

friend to the Company’s Websites or forward a commentary may need to provide the name and
e-mail address of the friend. The Company may send the friend a one-time e-mail invitation to
the Websites. In addition, the Company may store the friend’s contact information for the
sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail invitation and tracking the success of its
referral program. The friend may request removal from the Company’s database by sending an
e-mail to support@thefxmarkets.com.

SECURITY

The Company takes precaution to protect the private information that users submit on or
through the Company’s Websites. When users submit private information, including credit card
information, on or through any registration, signup, order or purchase form, such information
is protected by SSL, the best encryption software in the industry. Furthermore, order or
purchase forms are on secure pages, where the lock icon located on the bottom of the web
browser becomes locked, as opposed to remaining un-locked or open when users are just
“surfing.”

The Company also takes precaution to protect users’ personal information off-line by enabling
access to such information to only those employees who specifically need the information to
perform a task (i.e., billing or customer service) and only from within the Company’s
offices. Employees are required to use passwords to access such information and are advised
of the Company’s latest security and privacy practices. Finally, the Company maintains the
servers that store such information in a secure environment.

If you have any questions about the Company’s security practices, please send an e-mail to
support@thefxmarkets.com.

MISCELLANEOUS

Information Supplementation

In fulfilling its various obligations to users, the Company may occasionally supplement the
information that it receives from users with information from third party sources.

user’s address before making a charge on the user’s credit card. This procedure is intended
to protect the user and the Company from credit card fraud and other illegal activities.

Purchasing History

The Company may track and combine users’ purchasing history with other user information to
create profiles and customized viewing preferences.
