The results are based on the average 5-day performance.

Stocks started the day with a hint of holiday optimism, but as the day
progresses, the major averages continue to fall.
Oil and natural gas prices continue to fall, as
do related energy stocks. Oil service sector is down 3.3% and natural gas is
down 2.9%.
The airline industry is moving sideways, fighting
the overall decline in the market. This sector is showing gains of 3%.
