Stocks are mildly lower Friday despite some encouraging numbers that showed
home sales falling 9.8% in July. The top sectors of the day are forest and
paper products and gold and silver while the weakest are oil services and
semiconductors.
At mid-day, the VIX is up .37 to 19.47.
The OEX 820 calls are down 1 to 17.
