20% Upside For These 2 Stocks?
Stocks were slightly higher Friday.
Discouraging guidance from two Nasdaq stocks sent the indices lower early on,
but a late session rally reversed the early losses.
Google (GOOG)
reported earnings; revenues were $890 million, above estimates and up 98%.
Merrill Lynch raised 2005 and 2006 estimates. GOOG is trading 4% lower
this morning.
Microsoft (MSFT)
beat by 0.03; revenues were $10.16 billion vs a $10.17 estimate. MSFT is
trading 2% lower.
SG Cowan said that both Google and Microsoft have 20% upside.
Maidenform (MFD) priced its IP0, 10 million shares at $17. The stock
closed at 19.75.
Analysts polled expect the yuan to appreciate 4% by next year.
In earnings next week, look for BIIB, IMCL, AMZN, SUNW, ISSX, SYMC and SEBL.
