Defining An Edge

I love pointing out setups
that come across my radar, but in no way
am I the final word–that’s something left up to the individual trader. In
general, I believe (in my most humble of opinions) that I can spot a trade that
might be defined as ‘something with edge’ in it, to quite a few of the technical
traders out there. Personally speaking though, my intention as an analyst here
at TM is to alert or make our subscribers aware of a potential set up–not to
provide the last word on where to enter a stock. Ultimately, it’s up to you to
decide for yourself if the potential trade represents edge, and a place in your intraday portfolio.

Intraday Update
Sohu.Com (SOHU)
has formed a potential
1,2,3 intraday. With the stock up .23 at 37.43 the issue is showing an
oversold crossover with the 5-minute stochastics. Triggers look to be set above
37.50.

…and who knows, by the time you decide there’s
edge, you might be giving yourself some extra edge over the long run as well as
in the here and now.
