Friday’s Top Stocks
Who says this market is ‘thru’? Well, they’d be absolutely right
if it was in reference to our fresh higher-highs in our ETF friends.
‘Mooove’, and how. After a very brief hesitation on the part of Institutional
lemmings, it was a solid trend day higher for the averages, marked by accumulation
statistics, despite some weakness in the semiconductor sector. The closing
numbers on the index proxies show gains between 1% to 1.5% in today’s trade.
As mentioned, although not qualifying as a classic ‘follow-thru’ day,
our ETF friends did
establish a day of ‘accumulation’ based on the stronger, and above-average
volume in all of the cash markets. Market breadth also confirmed the market’s
health, with a solid 1.75:1 margin in favor of advancing issues…’oh,
yahoo!’
What, me worry? I told you the invasion by the Japanese yesterday wasn’t anything
to really concern yourselves with. Today’s action showed that our troops
(ETFs), really weren’t under fire, but rather, just doing a bit of retrenching.
‘Above the trenches’, our list of high-quality growth stocks was showing us
that a
major offensive looked imminent, and voila…today, the troops rallied. ‘KLAC,
KLAC, oops, I mean quack, quack.’ The semiconductors were under pressure today
due to some guy named Bill’s book or something like that. All things considered,
not too shabby, shaggy. But ‘hay’ (mooo), if it really concerns you, just stick
with what got you through the rough patches in the first place, namely good
ol’ consistent, disciplined daytrading, and let someone else concern themselves
with whether or not the Zebra

Today’s ‘present’, certainly was. It wasn’t necessarily from the places that
I thought our gifts would come from, but that’s quite alright. By keeping ready,
and open to the changing conditions, sometimes we still use ‘the list’, but
for reasons that were not quite so compelling just hours earlier. It just goes
to show what a difference a day can make when you’re willing to open your eyes
and embrace your newfound gifts, right here, in our one and only present.

Stocks that are setting up on a closing basis as potential long or short reversal pattern

Double bottoms) consolidations, and triangle reversals. Background technical
supports in the form of Fibonacci levels, EMAs (DEMA=daily ema), RS, and former
