Quietly Higher
S&Ps are trading at 1157 in a quiet market, with many of the larger players exiting the trading pit. Expect quiet conditions for the balance of the session.
On the upside, the market continues to find resistance around the 1160 level. Earlier, the market made it back above 1160 on strength in the Dow, but the higher levels could not be maintained.
Nasdaq meanwhile is trading at 1618. Earlier, we held just below the 1625 level after locals tried to push the market. Basically, the resistance zone stretches from 1619 through 1628.
