So Quiet…
The equity futures markets are very quiet, given the holiday and the wait for news about the latest on the military action.
S&Ps are at 1065.50. The market has been in a range, basically between 1065 and 1072 for over an hour. The trading pit is very thinly populated. It has all the making of a quiet, thinly traded day — although in a news dominated market you never know…
Nasdaq futures also quietly traded with the trading pit thinning out. Nasdaq has traded in a range of 1291 to 1304 for much of the morning. There is little interest in the trade at the moment.
Overall, the sidelines may be the best place for day-traders. If you’re going to trade, do so with extreme caution.
