An IPO To
Watch For. Will It Be A Trend?

Party Gaming, the
Gibralter-based owner of PartyPoker.com, may plan an IPO on the London
exchange this year. This, according to Pokerpulse, an industry tracker, who says
the company will generate $2 billion in revenues this year. Party Gaming is an
8-year old company, formerly known as iGlobalMedia. Poker is very hot, and there
are many other companies involved, some of which may offer stock to the public.
A British firm, Sportingbet, bought the ParadisePoker site in October and since
then, the company’s shares have risen from $2.18 to $5.86.
