June crude futures are up 0.8%
to $65.11 a barrel, as crude inventories show a build, but
gasoline stockpiles continue to drop.Â
June gold futures are up 0.2% to $689.20.
The major Asian indices finished
mixed in Wednesday’s session. Tokyo’s Nikkei lost 1.24% to
close at 17,236.16 and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell 0.2% to
20,536.78. Shanghai’s Composite continued to advance with a
gain of 0.6% to 3,743.96.
