Dow Falls For Third Straight Day
U.S. indices fell today on inflation remarks from
Fed Chairman Bernanke. The Dow, S&P, and Nasdaq all moved
lower by 0.8%.
May Crude futures closed higher
by 1.8% to $64.08 per barrel. Gold futures
also rose today 0.5% to $672.30 an ounce.
Around Europe, the U.K.’s
FTSE 100 index fell 0.40% to 6,267.20, while France’s CAC 40 index
slipped 0.62% to 5,552.69 and Germany’s DAX index dropped 0.60% to
6,816.89.
