Dow Reaches Another Historic High
With technology
stocks helping to lead the way higher, the U.S. stock markets are turning in a
strong performance during trading on Wednesday. The major averages
are all adding to the gains that were posted in the previous session.

The price of oil staged a significant
turnaround over the course of the trading session on Wednesday, with crude for
March delivery closing up $0.33 at $55.37 a barrel after falling to a low of
$53.66 a barrel in morning trading.
After moving lower in morning trading, the
price of gold turned higher over the course of the trading session on Wednesday.
Gold for February delivery closed up $2.30 at $648.20 an ounce after hitting a
low of $638.90 an ounce.
