Friday’s Stock Watch
The broader
markets
were mixed in a choppy and directionless session,
with
volume coming in about average. Internet and health-related stocks represented the
health of the day, while oil service and semiconductors were stick in the red. The stocks
on our watch list were mixed, with some accumulation, and one nasty sell-off.
Market breadth was neutral, with
NYSE declining issues over advancing issues by a ratio of 1.02, and down
volume over up volume by a 1.27 ratio. Nasdaq advancing issues over declining
issues came in at 1.003, and down volume beat up volume by a 1.02 ratio.
