Traders watch mainly four prices,
open, high, low, and close. So often shortly after the open, you can
observe the stocks to test one of those prices.

Electronic Arts (ERTS) is forming a bear flag on its 3-minute chart. ERTS
is now down 50 cents at 48.79.

The red line is yesterday’s high, and the blue one is yesterday’s close. As you
can see, the stock has reversed to the downside after briefly challenging
yesterday’s high. It was an excellent place to sell short.

When you look at the current price of stocks, ask questions like these: Is it
moving away form today’s open? Is it touching yesterday’s low?,,,etc.
