There are really two
types of trading: discretionary trading and systems trading. In
discretionary trading, you are making the buy/sell decisions yourself. With
systems trading, you are simply following pre-set trading rules. (Hopefully you
have a system that has been adequately back-tested and shows a decent equity
curve). Systems trading takes the emotion and guesswork out of trading.
