Market Rally Continues
The major indices finished a mixed day
of trading with a late day surge to close in the green. The
Dow finished the week up 3.1%, led today by General Motors

and 1.25% respectively.
May Crude futures closed the
session up $0.54 to $62.23 per barrel. Gold futures for
April delivery finished lower by $6.90 to $657.30 an ounce.
The European markets rose on
Friday, boosted by takeover talks swirling through the auto,
utility and media sectors.Â
The
U.K.’s FTSE 100 index rose 0.34% to 6,339.40, while France’s CAC
40 index climbed 0.65% to 5,634.75 and Germany’s DAX index surged
up 0.61% to 6,899.06.
