Markets Close Flat Heading Into Holiday Weekend
Stocks closed near the flat line in
today’s session. Despite numerous economic reports released
today, traders were reluctant to enter the markets in force.
Crude closed higher today by 2.4% to $59.39 on
news of militant attacks in Nigeria, which is Africa’s largest oil
producer. Gold for April delivery rose along with oil today
adding 0.2% to $6723.80 an ounce.
