Micron Calls Rise; Nasdaq Fades
The Nasdaq gave up some big mid-day gains but still managed a 2.8% gain for
the day. Semiconductors were the leading sector while gold
and silver was the weakest.
At the close, the VIX was down 1.78 to 27.44.
