Micron Puts Soar; Stocks End Mixed
Stocks bounced back from a crushing early-morning selloff that took the
Nasdaq down 5.6% at its low of the day. Stocks ended the day mixed, as
semiconductors were the weakest group and biotechs were the strongest.
At the close, the VIX had increased .64 to 24.20.
The OEX 800 calls finished down 2 1/8 to 7 5/8.
