Postcard To My Readers

Good
morning. My name is Bill
Winger, and I am the president of the International Trading Institute — one of
Tony Saliba’s companies. Tony is on
vacation, getting rested and revved up for his upcoming seminar in Chicago.
Because I am his colleague, and also have assisted him in putting
together the seminar, he asked me to pass on some of his thoughts in his
absence. (Here is a
difference between Tony and I — were I
on a beach, I would not be phoning the office. I
always tell the guy he works too hard!)

The first thing
Tony wanted me to mention was that he hopes to get the column rolling again
soon. He is sincerely humbled by all the
letters of support he has received.

The second order
of business Tony wanted me to address was the status of his
outstanding strategic suggestions, i.e., the
Microsoft vertical call Spreads and the Ciena and Qualcomm put butterflys.
In fact, a glance at our screens this morning shows that they all are
winners, with the exception of the CIEN Put Butter,
which is right where we got in. I have designed the following grid to
summarize the data for you
 

Finally,
Tony has these words of wisdom:

“
Hello folks…remember, I am all about scaling.
I am going to stress this until I’m blue in the face at my seminar.
I am glad to say if you followed these suggestions you should have a
slight profit at this point. Thus, you should consider taking some money off
your position for a profit here. Adios,
and I hope to see you at the seminar.”
