Step Up To The Plate

As indicated on
Friday, today’s piece will be brief due to travel plans. I will resume full
commentary tomorrow.

The game
continues.
While from a daytrading perspective (HVT) the markets have
offered great trading, the indices remain range-bound, offering no clear
direction. The longer they stay in this range, the more explosive the move will
be when it is broken.

Friday was probably the least
favorable of the days last week. While there was volatility, it was very erratic
and counterintuitive. “Choppy” would be one way to describe it.
Luckily, the previous four days were very fruitful.  I actually think this
has been some of the best intraday trading in weeks. Yes, it has been
challenging on a longer time frame, but from a “scalping” (HVT)
standpoint, it is exactly the environment one needs to thrive. Step up to the
plate and take full advantage.
