Stocks Mixed As Investors Digest Data

Stocks are mixed on a raft of earnings and economic
reports.

New home sales for June rose 4% to 1.347 million units.

Durable goods orders in June rose +1.4%; ex trans, +2.6%.

The EIA said crude inventories fell by 2.3 million
barrels; gasoline inventories fell by 2.1 million barrels; distillates rose 3.1
million barrels.

Amazon (AMZN)
reported 0.12, beating by 0.02. Revenues rose 26% to $1.75 billion.
