These Are The Stocks I’m Watching Now…

Due
to my travel schedule, this column is being produced before the closing bell
. The
major averages are producing a slow, listless day after a solid opening.

The most important part of my
research happens each day as I evaluate the overall market’s price and volume
action for accumulation or distribution. Up to this point, we have only been
seeing buyers coming in every step of the way.

Individual stocks have proved that and most
leading names have not even been coming close to their 50-day moving averages
as support seems to come in ahead of that.

The homebuilders are showing strong leadership.

gained 5 points on yesterday’s session, but is
only giving back a little over $2 today while volume is coming in lighter.
The buyers think the stock has more to go so they are not rushing for the
exits.

Other stocks I have been
keeping an eye on include Gen-probe

from the Medical Sector. The stock had a nice, healthy gap through its pivot
on 4/30, and has yet to look back after a 20%+ gain.

United Online

has been able to hold its breakout
through 22.90 and is worth watching as it has yet to give any ground.

Research and hard work will
pay off as the market remains strong.  The strongest stocks usually continue
to do the best and are the names that we should all be looking at for
investment.

Have a great weekend,
