and anthrax scares, closing in the top of Wednesday’s intraday range and above
its 50-day moving average for the first time in nearly three months. Follow
through, however, will be the key in Thursday’s session to see if it can stick,
which would be a very constructive sign. Jobless claims and existing home sales
are due to be released in the morning, so keep an eye on the futures at 8:30 AM
EDT for a reaction to the jobless number and the market at 10:00 AM EDT to see
how the markets processes the data on home sales – both potential indications as
to how the day may play out.
