While the positive close may
be encouraging to some, the fact that the indices could not manage a close in
the top half of their ranges is not. The
charts in the major averages are setting up as simple counter trend rallies off
the recent low. So we may see one more up day, then the move back lower. Keep
playing it both ways if volatility stays as it has the past two sessions.
