Buyers began to move back into financials head of the final trading day of the week. Although gains were modest in stocks like ^GS^ and ^C^, both GS and C finished off their lows on Thursday while other financials, as noted below, put in strong performances.

Here are 7 Stocks You Need to Know for Friday.

^GOOG^ reported quarterly earnings that beat analyst expectations on Thursday after pulling back for a second consecutive trading day. The stock was up nearly 2% in afterhours trading immediately following the announcement.

Buyers began to move back into ^BAC^ (below) ahead of the stock’s scheduled quarterly earnings announcement on Friday.

Shares of Bank of America had closed lower for two days in a row heading into Thurday’s open.

Profit-taking from short-term overbought conditions in ^SLB^ have sent that stock lower for a third day in a row.

Up more than 4% after a two-day pullback were shares of ^MS^ (below) on Thursday.

Morgan Stanley was noted in yesterday’s 7 Stocks You Need to Know as the stock pulled back for a second session above the 200-day. Fellow financial ^JPM^ was also higher on Thursday, by more than 2%, following a two-day retreat of its own.

Shares of ^FCX^ (below) pulled back by more than 3% ahead of trading on Thursday.

Thursday’s close marked the stock’s second consecutive lower finish in oversold territory above the 200-day.

Shares of ^TGT^ rallied by nearly 2% after a four-day pullback that took the stock into oversold territory above the 200-day moving average.
