U.S. stocks edged back into overbought territory on Wednesday, with energy shares like ^BHI^ and ^HAL^ among the better-performing blue chips. Up more than 7% were shares of ^ANF^. The stock, which was featured in yesterday’s 7 Stocks You Need to Know, rallied to new short-term highs after a brief, two-day pullback.

Here are 7 Stocks You Need to Know for Thursday.

Among the retailers scheduled to report quarterly earnings on Thursday are ^LIZ^ before the market opens and ^JWN^ (below) after the bell.

Shares of Nordstrom’s were up more than 1% and closing in oversold territory in trading on Wednesday.

^DELL^ rallied by more than 11% on Wednesday to close at its highest level since the summer of 2010. The sharp move higher puts the stock in overbought territory above the 200-day.

Down more than 2% ahead of trading on Thursday were shares of ^Q^ (below).

The sharp pullback puts the stock in oversold territory above the 200-day. Qwest was last in oversold territory in late January.

Increasingly oversold, shares of ^MSFT^ finally broke even on Wednesday. The stock had closed lower for five consecutive trading days, the previous three in oversold territory above the 200-day.

Shares of ^RIMM^ (below) soared by more than 4% in trading on Wednesday.

RIMM had pulled back for three days in a row before Wednesday’s sharp move to new highs.

Rallying to close above its 200-day moving average for the first time since June 2010 were shares of ^LZB^ in Wednesday’s trading. Up by more than 28%, the stock, unsurprisingly, is now overbought.
