TradingMarkets Mid-Day Movers
Once again stocks started the day on
a positive note as earning after the close were well received. All
the major averages traded higher early in the session but as the morning has
progressed technology has slid slightly into negative territory, with both the
NASDAQ Composite and NASDAQ 100 now trading lower.
Crude Oil is trading at $63.05, +2.02% on the session. Heating
Oil, Unleaded Gasoline and Natural Gas are all moving higher.
Treasuries are trading lower (yields higher) and the U.S.
Dollar Index is trading higher, with the dollar moving up against all the major
currencies.
The energy sectors are dominating the best performers list
with the move higher in energy prices. Technology sectors are weaker.
