is one of the few bright spots in the markets today rising
2.6% in early trading ahead of expectations that they will be announcing a new
mobile-phone product in the near future.

After ending the previous session in
negative territory, the price of oil has extended its recent downward move in
morning trading on Tuesday. Crude for February delivery is currently down $1.69
at $54.40 a barrel.

Earlier in the session, the price of oil
fell to a low of $53.88 a barrel, its lowest intraday level in well over a year.
The price decrease reflects continued concerns about weak heating oil demand in
light of warmer than normal temperatures across much of the U.S.

After seeing some strength in the previous
session, the price of gold has shown a lack of direction in morning trading on
Tuesday. Gold for February delivery is currently up $0.20 at $609.40 an ounce
after ending Monday’s trading up $2.50 an ounce.
