TradingMarkets Mid-Day Movers

The major indices are slightly mixed in morning
trading.  The Institute of Supply Management’s latest report
showed that U.S. manufacturing is continuing to slow.  This
was offset by further deal news.

May Crude futures are moving
lower this morning by 0.4% to $65.60.  
Gold futures
for June delivery is also lower to $663.80 an ounce, a drop of
0.8%.

Monday’s session in Asia finished mixed with the
Shanghai Composite continuing its recent momentum by adding 2.2%
to 3,252.59.  Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index closed flat at
19,809.70 and Tokyo’s Nikkei dropped 1.5% to 17,028.41.
