After showing a notable decline in the
previous session, the price of gold has moved back to the upside in morning
trading on Friday. Gold for February delivery is currently up $3.90 at $632 an
ounce after ending the previous session down more than $5 an ounce.
The rebound by the price of gold comes as
the price of oil is also regaining some ground after falling sharply on
Thursday. After ending the previous session at its lowest closing level since
May of 2005, crude for February delivery is up $0.49 at $50.97 a barrel.
