June crude futures fell 0.4% to
$65.61 a barrel after Iran is reported to be making progress in
talks with the EU on its nuclear program.Â
June gold futures fell 1.6% to $676.30 an ounce in early trading.
Stocks in Asia continued to rise in
Thursday’s session. The Nikkei led with gains of 1.1% to
close at 17,249.17. Shanghai added 1% to 3,783.06 and Hong
Kong’s Hang Seng Index rose 0.6% to 20,667.29.
Thursday‘s
PowerRatings Heat Map continues to be moderately bearish, with very little
green to be found. The weakest looking sector today is the Energy sector,
which carries the most risk after the recent runup.Â
