May Crude futures are up 1.5%
to $62.75 per barrel on news that tomorrow’s Nigerian elections
may disrupt shipments.
June gold futures are also up 1.2% to $696.80
per ounce.
Around Asia, markets rallied as the
Shanghai Composite rebounded 4% to close at 3,584.20. Hong
Kong’s Hang Seng added 1.3% to 20,566.59 and Tokyo’s Nikkei rose
0.5% to 17,452.62.
