TradingMarkets Mid-Day Movers

Momentum from yesterday’s huge
rally is not carrying through this morning as the U.S. indices are
trading moderately lower. 

Crude prices continue to
move higher as supplies of crude continue to drop.  The
Energy Department reported a 4.84 million barrel drop in
inventories this morning.  Crude is currently up by 1.6% to
$61.68 per barrel. 

Gold futures are trading higher
currently up 0.5% to $649.70 an ounce.

Asian stocks finished mixed in
Wednesday’s session with the Shanghai Composite finishing up
nearly 2%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng down 0.7%, and Tokyo’s Nikkei 225
index down 0.5%.
