U.S. stocks rise after nonfarm
payrolls and unemployment rate reports came in as-expected.Â
The major indices are currently higher by about 0.25% in early
trading..
Gold is trading fractionally lower
through the morning to $653.00 an ounce. Crude
futures are moving lower by 1.7% to $60.75 per
barrel on forecasts for warmer weather in coming weeks.Â
Asian markets finished the
week mixed. The Shanghai Composite gained 0.34% to 2,937.91,
the Nikkei rose 0.4% to 17,164.04, and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index
lost 0.2%.
