Triple Witch Makes Its Exit
T.G.I.F. After a lackluster week, I am
not sad to see the Triple Witching make its way to the exit. Naturally, there
were setups throughout the week, you just needed to show restraint and
discipline. I am focusing on next week and am viewing today as pretty much a
non-event. I will keep my eyes on the screen after the first hour, but unless
something really jumps out at me, I will stay on the sidelines.
The one event I see as offering a potential volatility spike is the Michigan
Consumer Sentiment number, which is to be released just before 10:00
a.m. EST.Â

With just over a month to go before the launch of Single
Stock Futures (SSFs), I will be starting a four-part series beginning
on March 22, the first part of which will address the following:
Section 1:Â Why I will be trading SSFs.
The introduction of SSFs will be a very exciting time for traders. They will
not only offer a new avenue for traders, but more importantly, offer a nice
complement to what many traders, including myself, already do.
As always, feel free to send me your comments and
questions. See you in TradersWire.
