Tuesday’s Stock Watch
The broader
markets were
slightly down today after three days of buying that brought in the
new year. Above average volume on the session wasn’t enough to trump the two
previous days of trading. Stocks on our watch list were mixed, with a new
stock added to the “Building a Base List.”
Market breadth was slightly negative, with
NYSE declining issues over advancing issues by a ratio of 1.14, and down volume
over up volume by a 1.38 ratio. Nasdaq declining issues over advancing
issues came in at 1.21, and down volume beat up volume by a 1.71 ratio.
