Tuesday’s Top Stocks From TradersWire

Shortly before the
close, Genentech (DNA) exploded.
The company said Avastin was
effective in treating the common form of lung cancer when used with the leading
chemotherapy drugs. As you can see below, DNA jumped up more than 10 points in
less than 45 minutes. Indeed, this was a nightmare for short sellers.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average nicely bounced off a rising trendline and
closed near the day’s high. The Nasdaq Composite Index escaped the fifth
consecutive losing session. It formed an inside bar below the declining 50-day
SMA (simple moving average).

Now, four stocks for Tuesday:

Amazon.com (AMZN): The issue may be shaping a 1-2-3 bottom. It tested last
Friday’s low successfully and closed near the day’s best level. Long AMZN if it
takes out 34.75. Target is near 36. Risk 50 cents.

Anadarko Petroleum (APC): The stock may be ready to resume its uptrend. It
formed a mildly bullish bar just above the 38.2% retracement level. Long APC if
it trades above 78. We are looking for 80. Risk 0.5-0.75.

Boeing Co (BA): The issue is attempting to break out of a bull flag. Long BA if
it moves above 58. Our target is 60. Watch out for the March 4 high (58.74). It
may become a resistance level. Risk 50 cents.
