When is it going to stop?
Travelzoo (TZOO) traded below 70 most of the afternoon session, but it
managed to close above the 5-period MA. Notice, TZOO formed a long tail. Is it a
bullish sign, or a bearish hanging man?
Diamonds Trust (DIA) gapped down at the open and closed below the 20-day
MA on increased volume. Nasdaq-100 Index Tracking Stock (QQQ), again,
failed to move above the 200-day MA. The stock has been shaping a trading range.
Let’s look at three stocks for Tuesday:
Tribune Co (TRB): The stock is forming a bear flag below the 50-day MA.
Look for a resumption of the downtrend.
3M Company (MMM): The issue could not take out its 200-day MA and broke
down below its minor support level. Look for a continuation of the downward
move.
Cognos Inc (COGN): The issue looks ready to resume its uptrend.
Look for a challenge of the September 13 high.Â
