WCOM Calls Ease; Stocks Fall

Stocks are sharply lower Tuesday as earnings warnings continue to frighten
buyers away from technology. Drugs are the day’s top sector while Internets are
the weakest.

At mid-day the VIX is up 5.01 to 39.76.
