Looking Ahead to Today by Reflecting Back at Wednesday’s Price Action

Futures and options trading is speculative in nature and involves substantial risk of loss.  Futures and options trading is not suitable for all investors.

ENERGIES:

Higher closes for heating oil and natural gas while lower for crude oil and the rbob for the second trading session in a row. The crude, heat (best high since August 11th in the October contract) and rbob continue to show very choppy action while in sideways trends since late May and early June keeping me on the sidelines. However, the crude and rbob continue to be in heavy resistance at this time. The gas settled higher for the 4th consecutive trading session right on the cusp of giving me a buy signal with its best close since August 24th. SELL SIGNAL FOR THE NATURAL GAS. CALL FOR DETAILS!

INDICES:

Higher for the dow futures along with the nasdaq while lower for the cash dow and S&P’s. The S&P’s still have a DOUBLE TOP at 112250 basis the December contract and are in a small but key resistance area. However, along with the dow are close to a breakout to the upside. Look at the large chart patterns below to see what I mean. The dow along with the S&P’s made their best closes since early August again The nasdaq had its best high and close since May 13th continuing to lead the way in the indices. BUY SIGNAL FOR THE NASDAQ. CALL FOR DETAILS!
