Looking Ahead to Today by Reflecting Back at Wednesday’s Price Action

Futures and options trading is speculative in nature and involves substantial risk of loss.  Futures and options trading is not suitable for all investors.

INDICES:

Sharply higher closes Wednesday for the cash and Dow futures along with the S&P’s and nasdaq. The Dow and S&P’s made their highest closes in two weeks and the nasdaq in eight trading sessions but no changes technically. Was yesterday the end if the indices latest slide? Stay tuned and we should find out over the next few trading sessions. Meanwhile, I still don’t have any trade signals!

ENERGIES:

Sharply higher closes Wednesday for crude and heating oil along with the rbob this time while lower for natural gas. The crude, heat and rbob continue to show very choppy action but now are forming possible bottoms. The crude formation, however, is a little harder to read because I can make a case for a bear pennant along with a bottoming formation possibly happening. Since the heat and rbob show possible bottoming formations I look for the crude to act the same way. Gas continues to look very weak technically and fundamentally. The lower gas futures has finally showed up in my gas bill! SELL SIGNALS FOR THE CRUDE AND HEATING OIL, RBOB AND NATURAL GAS. CALL FOR DETAILS!
