Broadcom Calls Jump; Stocks Ease

Stocks finished slightly lower Friday, in a summertime session of light
volume and little economic news. Semiconductors again were the top sector of the
day, while health care and oil services were the weakest groups of the day.

By the clsoe, the VIX had decreased .62  to 19.42.

The OEX August 820 puts ended the day up 1/4 to 6 1/2.
