Cisco Calls Rise, Nasdaq Rallys
The Nasdaq bounced back from an early-morning plunge of 137 points and by the
close had booked an impressive 2.8% gain for the day. Banks, biotechs, and
Internets were the day’s top performers while gold and silver and retailers were
the weakest sectors.
By the close, the VIX had increased .03 to 22.79.
The OEX August 800 calls rose 2 to 9.
