All Eyes On Greenspan
With President-elect Bush scheduled for a meeting with the almighty
Greenspan, stocks appear optimistic and set for a positive open Monday. The Fed
meets Tuesday, and analysts are suggesting that we could possibly see an easing
in rates.
The Nasdaq futures are up 72 points, and the Dow futures are up 105 points.
The S&Ps look to open up 17 points while the yield on the 10-year
Treasury is down to 5.17%.
All eyes will be on the Fed’s rate decision which will be announced Tuesday
at 2:15 PM ET.
