You might just have to ask
yourself the question: Who have have you believed in for a longer time?
When given a choice to trade out of our friend Mr. Slim Jim, it’s normally
a no-brainer to take the high-probability trade as it triggers out of the
consolidation.
….but, when you have a Fat Bearded Guy
strolling into town and throwing his weight onto the equity markets by way of
lighter volume, and ‘slim pickings’ abound — this just might be one of those
special high-probability times where our favorite consolidation pattern is
actually a cue to say ‘thank you’ and go out and greet some other friends
instead.
