Tighter And Tighter
S&Ps trading at 1213.50, as the market continues in a tight, choppy range between about 1215 and 1209. Unless there is a breakout of this range, you may have to chalk this up to a quiet, summer Friday with little opportunity.
In the trading pit, many of the big players have already called it a weekend. The market could pick up a bit later on today, but don’t force anything if the volume and volatility aren’t there.
Nasdaq futures at 1725, with the market stuch in the 1720s. Very little movement in this market right now. The market has had trouble getting to 1735, and the locals were able to press it lower.
We need to get above 1735 to get the upside started again, but with the pit trade so quiet, there may not little opportunity for the trade opportunity.
