AMD Calls Rise; Stocks Mixed
Upgrades in the chip sector have helped rally the Nasdaq Wednesday while the
Dow has retreated back around the 10,000 level. Semiconductors are the day’s top
sector, and health care is the weakest.
At mid-day, the VIX is up .27 to 33.57.
